Geoff Wong

Geoff worked as a software tester from 2011 to mid-2012. He attended Sydney Missionary and Bible College but because of medical issues he couldn’t become an overseas missionary after Bible college.

Geoff then had two questions. First, could he serve God through software testing?
Second, if he couldn’t be a missionary, could he mobilise others for mission?

God led Geoff to learn about GRN at a ReachOut Missions Conference. GRN’s 5fish app and website needed testers. So in January 2017 he began volunteering at GRN. God answered Geoff’s questions during his time at GRN. His software testing passion and skills could help improve the quality of 5fish and other GRN applications so more users could hear and share the story of Jesus globally. And the opportunity to promote GRN and its ministry meant being able to mobilise others for mission as well.
So Geoff became convinced of God’s direction for him and joined GRN. 
He is a tirelessly enthusiastic worker for God in reaching people around the world with the Gospel.

In his spare time, Geoff enjoys watching Japanese anime and playing board and card games with friends.
